The Sorbian Easter
40 days before Easter, on Ash Wednesday, Lent starts for all Sorbs. Easter is a time for arts and crafts. The most famous Sorbian Easter tradition is dying and decorating of hard-boiled eggs. While paint and brushes can be used, traditionally the Sorbian custom is to decorate eggs with beeswax, dye and feathers.
