We were happy to be involved in the Mundawaddra Woolshed tour organised by Graeme Wenke of the Walla Walla and District Historical Society Inc. After meeting at the Headlie Taylor rest stop at Henty we made our way to the Mundawaddra Woolshed after a short stop at a plaque honouring the soldier settlers of the area.
After a tour led by Matt Klemke of the magnificent Woolshed we continued on to the Mundawaddery cemetery where Anthony Male gave a talk on its history. The next stop was St. John’s Lutheran Church at Pleasant Hills, where we learnt about its history from Trevor Terlich. The tour continued to Pleasant Hills Lutheran Cemetery and finished up at the Pleasant Hills Hotel.
