Research
Dedicated & Qualified Researchers, Genealogists and Curators
The Museum undertakes a range of research projects that provide new information on objects in the collection such as how they were manufactured and the individuals who used them. Our research is actively applied to the interpretation in the Outdoor Museum.
Research actively pursues historical research, scientific examination, archaeological excavation, exhibition curation, application of intangible cultural heritage, reconstruction of replica buildings, costumes or objects, or educational pedagogy.
Our dedicated and qualified professional researchers, genealogists and curators are happy to help you with all your research needs, such as;
- Family History and Genealogical research.
- Translation of documents from German into English.
- Appraisal, cleaning and restoration of your family heirlooms.
We strive to lead the field in innovative new ideas and at present we are working on an augmented reality app that can be utilised for translation of headstones for our cemetery tour as well as other applications.
