The Walla Walla Water Tower was painted by Damien Mitchell over three weeks in April and May 2022. It depicts seven animal species that are native to the area in a scene set around the Walla Walla swamp. The people in the boats are taken from an old photo showing local residents when the swamp was full of water.
A stunning piece of artwork and a tribute to local history and species of flora and fauna being protected in the local Walla Walla Gum Swamp.
